A new faceless YouTube channel. This is the story of how I launched and grew it to 300K+ subscribers in about a year and a half. Let’s get into it!
I decided to launch a faceless YouTube channel
I really liked the idea of having a YouTube channel for recurring income each month. I had an idea to launch a channel. It was about a trending topic at the time.
And, I built a channel on YouTube around it.
It took off!
- Several videos hitting 1+ million views
- Growth consistently every month
- Fresh videos published weekly
One video hit over 50 million views and that was the channel-grower. It pushed over 200K subscribers to the channel in a very short time.
What kind of YouTube channel?
The niche is top secret. I won’t be sharing it because I still own the channel and don’t want to create competition for myself. There were about 6 to 10 major players in the space at the time.
Little did I know that I would be one of them.
Although the channel could not be monetized as a YouTube Partner, I did find other creative ways for it to earn money, through sponsorships.
All I did was put up a business email and I’d get fresh sponsorship leads hitting my inbox almost everyday. The videos were short 5-10 minute videos I created with an app on my phone.
They were quick and easy to make.
I had a passion for the topic and it worked out very well.
Over time, I got bored and abandoned the channel. It was shed, which means it doesn’t have over 300K subscribers any more but, it does have over 200K subscribers and still sits active on YouTube.
I can’t decide if I’ll go back to it or not but, I can say that I did it!
I grew a faceless YouTube channel to over 100K!
Do faceless YouTube channels still work?
Absolutely!
And, there are so many creative paths you can take with them, using an AI influencer, tools, and other resources. The sky’s the limit. It’s great.
My best advice is, if you want to try it, go ahead and try it!
It’s free and there’s no use in wondering if it’ll pay off, just go after it, and take action.
